Best server configuration for high traffic website?

Hello! Would like to know what is the best server configuration for a site that receives 4000 visitors daily. The pages contain no images, only videos will be hosted on them but I would use a CDN for video processing. Visitors will stay an average of 40 seconds on the page. Videos are usually less than 5 minutes long and in 1080p quality. The web pages size is 1 gb. My budget is 100 USD. Can I rely on Hostnamaste.com budget dedicated hosting? Are they good? Alternatives please?

  • For ~4k daily visitors with CDN-served 1080p videos, the load is actually more about PHP/database optimization and concurrent connections than bandwidth itself, especially if the pages are lightweight and mostly static. A solid VPS with KVM virtualization, NVMe storage, and around 8 GB RAM plus 4 vCPUs would probably handle this comfortably under a $100 budget without needing a budget dedicated server. Something like hostpro.com could fit well here since they have VPS locations in the USA, Poland, and the Netherlands, daily backups stored for 30 days, and scaling is easy if traffic grows later because upgrades don’t require migration. I’d also recommend using LiteSpeed or OpenLiteSpeed with Redis caching to reduce resource usage and improve response times.

  • When I was comparing VPS hosts, I paid close attention to what happens after something breaks. hostpro.com offers daily backups on all services, which let me restore a client’s site after a failed migration script wiped several tables. Their qualified support staff is reachable 24/7 and has answered my questions without charging extra, even for complex networking issues. That level of backup + support is why I continue using them.

  • Secure, reliable, and packed with great features — perfect for any website! Try Hostnamaste.com Dual Intel Xeon E5/X5650/AMD Epyc/Ryzen - 3.40 Ghz, RAM 8GB, 1TB Storage, 10TB 1 Gbps, $99.99/mo. This hosting service deserves appreciation for its strong security features, which protect my websites and give me peace of mind every day.

  • Have a look at servers from decent hosting providers: brixly.uk and hostingsource.com.
Their services are reliable and reasonably priced, they have a very good management and they have taken care of our requests in a timely manner.
Never have any downtime either! Pleasure to work with these guys.
