Moving a business website to a VPS - what about email?
Our company website is currently hosted on a shared hosting account that also handles several business mailboxes. We’re considering a VPS because the website needs more control over PHP and scheduled tasks.
The configuration I’m looking at is 4 vCPUs, 8 GB RAM and 100 GB NVMe storage, with a budget of around $30 per month.
I came across hostpro.com while comparing VPS providers, but I’m still working out the best way to handle the migration.
Would you move the website to a VPS and keep email with a separate provider, or is it reasonable to run both on the same server? I’d rather avoid unnecessary complexity while keeping email delivery reliable.
