Planning ahead for growth - VPS choice question

Hi everyone,
I’m working on a project that’s still pretty small, but there’s a strong chance it could scale quickly if things go well. I’d rather not deal with migrations later, so I’m thinking about starting with a VPS right away.

What I’m trying to figure out is how reliable scaling actually is in practice. Can you really increase resources like CPU or RAM without much hassle when traffic grows?

A friend mentioned hostpro.com as an option and said they’ve had a stable experience there so far. According to them, scaling is pretty straightforward and doesn’t turn into a complicated process, which sounds promising.

Would it make sense to plan ahead with a VPS like that, or is it still better to start smaller and upgrade later?
